Meetings this week
Hi everyone
Firstly I just want to say well done for the studio shoot, I think it went much better than we all expected! Ben has now got the tapes and will be editing the piece on Thursday. I have arranged a meeting for the producers/directors/editors to get together to discuss the edit, which will take place on Wednesday. Ben will then edit on Thursday and the directors will meet up with him again on Friday to review the edit. If anything needs altering it can be worked on over the weekend.
The next meeting for the whole group will be next Monday (1st November) at 11am in Edit 1, where we can all watch the finished piece and give feedback on the edit.
See you on the 1st, Amy.

Update
Hi guys,
So, Amy should have contacted you all about the meeting tomorrow which has now been moved to 12pm and is still at Media Base on level 3.
I know Lizzie (sound) cannot make it because of work and Phil (cinematography) cannot make it because he has a gig.
However, he has dropped the storyboards round Amy's tonight so we will look at them tomorrow and discuss them.
I know a couple of you are not confident about this idea, but I personally reckon it will work if we all know exactly what we are doing. This is why these group meetings are important and that we ALL attend them. So for those of you who cannot make it tomorrow we will try our best to let you know on Friday before we shoot what's going on.
We are not getting marked for this so it is a perfect opportunity to take a risk and learn lots! Whatever happens, if it works or not, it will be a lesson learnt.
We also have a third director joining us who is Qamar so we will be bringing him up to date with the idea and what is going on tomorrow.
Please all try be fresh and focused for Fridays shoot.
I'll see most of you tomorrow, if not on Friday.

Meeting - Monday 18th October

The producers/directors are all meeting up on Sunday to discuss the script for the studio shoot, so hopefully we'll have something to show you on Monday and the cinematographers/sound designers/art directors can work with the director to develop the idea further.

STUDIO SHOOT PREPARATION
Hey guys
Sorry we haven't got anything set for the studio shoot yet, I think everybody's that confused about/stressed with the locations exercise and major projects that it has been neglected a bit!
Anyway, because the locations exercise that we are all doing in other groups this week has to be completed by Friday, we are going to put the studio shoot to one side for now. We will get the brief for the studio shoot tomorrow, please still put any ideas that you have on the blog. Then at the weekend, the producers and directors of our group will get together to discuss the ideas and hopefully get a set idea/script sorted.
We will then ALL meet as a group on Monday 18th October and discuss what the producers/directors came up with. The cinematographers/sound designers/art directors can then work with the directors to produce storyboards, sound maps, mood boards, etc.
It is absolutely impossible to get all 14 of us there together for the meeting on Monday. I have managed to arrange it so there is at least one person from each specialism who is able to attend. Please find out who is working alongside you in your specialism on this project and allow them to update you/discuss any ideas in terms of that field. I will also put all things discussed on the blog, please put any suggestions you have on here too.

Group Blog - Yd
Hey guys
So as you'll all have seen on Blackboard, we're all together for the Studio Shoot this semester. We thought it would be a good idea to set up this blog so that we can share ideas and discuss the project, particularly when it may be difficult to meet/if you can't make a group meeting.
Could you all post your timetables on here asap please, Chaelyn is looking into making a spreadsheet so that we can work out the best times to hold meetings/shoots. We'll hopefully be able to arrange a meeting for the beginning of this week, looking forward to getting an idea sorted!
